Teaberry (also knows as Wintergreen, Winterberry, Checkerberry or Boxberry) is a beautiful little plant which is as useful as it is charming. Producing white flowers in the summer, edible red berries in the winter, and bright and shiny evergreen leaves, it's a great choice for terrariums and fairy gardens- or in a little pot all on it's own.

Teaberry is native to New England and has a long history of use from medicinal or culinary use, or in teas, gums etc.
It is native to New England and can be found in low woodland areas growing in a creeping growth pattern amongst moss, ferns, clubmoss and mushrooms.
It prefers moist (not wet), acidic soil and thrives in shady areas.

Teaberry really is a perfect terrarium plant, and adds color and texture to any project.

Plants grow along a rhizomes/vine, rather than a traditional root system. You will receive 5 Teaberry plants, with approximate sizes ranging from 1.5" to 3".

Teaberry plants ship BARE ROOT with a small amount of Sphagnum moss to keep them fresh during transit.
